R&D and development company Camgian Microsystems, Inc., is growing and adding new jobs to the area! First founded in Starkville in 2006, they have done work for the US military, among other major customers. Furthermore, The Mississippi Development Authority has certified Camgian for the Advantage Jobs Rebate Program, which provides incentives to businesses that hire locals for above-average pay for the area.
