We recently stopped in at Deli 802 up in Amory when we were out that way for a bite to eat. It’s a wonderful little place with a cool, relaxed look, friendly people, and great food! While they’re on Main Street now and have been for about the last seven years, they started out at 802 Earl Frye Blvd, right across from the medical center, where they were for five years; the name stuck.

We got a “Twist” sandwich (ham, turkey, bacon, and cheese with BBQ sauce) and a loaded baked potato. Customers get to dress the taters however they wish from the salad bar – within reason 🙂 They also feature a huge salad bar with a wide selection of toppings for folks who just wanna have that.

This is a great place to sit down and just enjoy a good meal while you pass the time or work on your laptop. Go check it out when you’re up that way!
